UPDATE: We received the M size and it fits our pug. It's a little large for him, but at least it'll fit. Below is what I wrote earlier re: size S not fitting our pug. Haven't tested this in the water yet, but product quality seems to be great. Looks very well-made, and feels solid. The only problem: the sample picture for the Small size shows a pug, so we decided to go with a size S instead of M. Turns out this would not fit our 23-lb 10-year-old pug. He's actually kinda slim for a pug. Most pugs have bigger waists than ours. We're going to exchange for a Medium. BOTTOM LINE: Haven't tested it, but quality seems superb. If your dog is of similar size to an adult pug, get the Medium.

Is a release to be able to live my pug Fiona out side with out worrie that is going to fall in the swimming pool and drawm, it fits great and seem to be really confortalbe because sh is enjoing it a lot in the water with my other dog a golden retiever

This works well, it would be a tad better with more floation underneath, but I suppose they had to keep it low to keep the dog from flipping. It does hold the dog up. The handle on the back to pick up the dog is great and any without the handle forget'em. It straps on well and dog doesn't mind it. A keeper.

My dog and I love this life vest. Whenever he sees it he knows we're going swimming and gets excited. It's easy to put on and I love how it makes sure that your dog is seen while in the water. My dog is 40 pounds and sometimes needs a little help out of the water. The handle at the top of the vest makes it easy to haul him out of the water or guide him whenever I need to. I often pick him up using the handle and haven't noticed any ripping in the stitching. I would prefer that the D ring for the leash were made out of metal and not plastic, but so far it has held up well. I don't normally put a leash on the D-ring anyway, but I do attach a long line on there so I can pull my dog back in if he swims too far. So far the ring has held up well.

This is the third or forth photographer vests that I've had, the first from this manufacturer. I wear them all the time to carry all my junk around. The ProMaster 7563 is probably the best made and most comfortable vest I've worn. I recommend it highly. One note, the vest is sent by FedEx and won't be accepted by a Post Office for a PO Box or General Delivery. The same situation for UPS. The method of shipment was not revealed in the ordering.

They are small, light weight, seem well built, and the pullout length is just about right. I bought two of these (similar product but I think different brand name) like over 15 years ago and they are still ok. I hope these ones last just as long.

Last summer we paid for a professional fly fishing lesson. Our guide was wearing one of these for the day. It came in handy many times that day, so I had to get one for my husband for Christmas this year. He loves it and can't wait to try it out.

Well written, complete and informative. I am not new to fishing, but am new to fly fishing. The up-to-date and in depth discussion and illustrations are a great refresher for any fisherman.

This was another stocking stuffer gift for my husband. He's returning back to fly fishing after several years of constant working and not having the time to do so. He says this little book is chocked full of tips and guides that are new to him. Nice size for fitting into one's fishing vest for quick reference "on the fly" (you might say)!

Thanks for your quick delivery. This is an excellent guide to learning the complicated knots of fly fishing.

This book is a MUST HAVE on the river for quick bug ID. Anyone just starting out in fly fishing will need this booklet, just put it in your vest pocket or in your boat bag and head for the river. DIck has put hatches in here from Maine to California. This booklet is a MUST HAVE !!.

Fleece is fleece, but this vest is surprisingly well put-together. The only thing is it missing is a third pocket (the small vertical one near the left center that most other vests have).

Columbia Sportswear Men's Cathedral Peak Vest I've had a hard time finding Large Tall clothes for a family member. He wanted a new vest and I was surprised and thrilled to find it at Amazon. I did a lot of shopping with Amazon this year, they made it so easy and fun to shop. I'll definitely be back.

I probably would never purchase this product online again. The material was not what I expected. I found the same product, the same price at the Marcy and the material is much better and thicker.

Bought this mainly for the color so my spouse can be visible when he is out in the woods. The vest is a bit longer than I anticipated but I think that it works. He has a 42 chest and would probably fit better in the medium, in case that helps anyone determine best fit.

I was very satisfied with the vest. I would get a size smaller than your usual size, they run big.

The vest is fine and it is constructed like the vest in the photo. However, it has some rather tacky screen printing on it to make it look like some sort of racer vest. I wanted a plain, solid-color, so that was disappointing. It fits fine and seems good quality, so I'll keep it. However, keep in mind that your vest may not be exactly what you're expecting. I bought these for myself and my teenage son. We're both slender people and the vest fits us fine. The top strap is NOT adjustable, so I think that someone really large would not be able to fasten it. It should be fine for average sized people.

The PFDs were delivered quickly and were exactly what I ordered. I am a 6 foot man and they fit me very well. Not restrictive, easy to adjust the size. I wear it at all times while in the canoe. I would have given it 5 stars for being a just-fine PFD at a nice low price, however I have never gone swimming in it so I can't say how it would feel if I really needed it. Would buy another. Note that there is a large logo permanently printed on the back.

The jackets themselves are fine. A retired coast guard captain recently suggested to me that cheap "Mae West" style jackets are better since they hold up the head of unconscious victims, unlike the vest design. Some other higher visibility colors, particularly dayglow and/or fluorescent (glow in the dark) would be a good idea. This is especially in light of the price, which I now realize is artificially high. Shipping/handling fees bring up the price dramatically; I just wish I hadn't been in such a hurry before buying such common items. Please check local retailers (heck, even K-Mart!) before assuming that since these are the best bargains on Amazon, that it's about the best you can do. Quality seems okay in and of itself, though.

I bought 2 vests for my grandsons ages 5 and 8 and they were thrilled. They seem to be a good quality and I was very pleased.

They must have listened to the minor complaints about the zippers. Mine has very nice, full size zippers with cloth pull tabs for easy opening. Speedy shipping from AvidMax. Plenty of room for all my gear. Great value for the $$.

It arrived on time and was in excellent condition. I even got a complimentary Swedish fish! :)
