With display? Don't worry, the display is just a flat cardboard cut out of a face with a hat. It also has the specifications and care instructions printed on it. This cape provides a pretty good method to convert a regular baseball-type cap into a hat with ear and neck protection, and you can store it in your tackle box in a plastic sandwich bag. My major issue with it is that it is diffcult to get it correctly adjusted without using a mirror or asking your companion if it is on straight. Since I often fish alone and never with a mirror, there is a chance I will put it on crooked and get sunburned. Also, I have found that everytime I take my hat off, I need to re-adjust the cape. Anyway, it would be easy to sew this cape onto a cap with a few stiches to prevent that problem, but I have a couple of caped hats, anyway, and I like the idea of having a cape in my tackle box for emergencies. By the way, having a cape on your hat also helps to keep biting flies (deer, sand, greenhead, and horse flies) from biting you on the back of the neck, but it is not 100% effective. It is not at all effective on biting marsh gnats, but perhaps spraying it with bug repellent as recommended in the instructions would work on them. I had one of these before, but on a fishing trip, I loaned it to a friend who was getting sunburned around the ears and neck. He never returned it, so I guess he liked it, too.

Wanted a shade but not the HUGE bill that the built-in's have. Pro: Nice option. Cool thing about this, rather than the type will a built-in shade is it is removable, which makes it more flexible to use with any hat you like. I love to saturate the shade with H2O and put A.C. on my neck.; Easy to roll up and put the elastic around the roll, to have a nice, small bundle to drop in your pocket ready for when you need it. Con: Nothing to keep the elastic on the front of the hat from creeping up. Velcro fastener partially lifted after washing.

this is not a top quality hat that you would give to your boat captin but it is a great one for cotumes. It pulled my look together nicely. It is also not adjustable so do makesure you know your size before ordering.

I did not realize this was a toy. I was looking for a real hat.

I love bandless earmuffs because I can just slip them into my pockets when I'm just using them -- most earmuffs just take up way too much space to carry around. These work pretty well, but I have some trouble keeping them on my right ear. I think my ear must be shaped oddly, though, because I don't have any problem with my left ear (and it makes no difference which earmuff I use). When they're on, I feel a bit of a pinch, but it isn't painful and I quickly get used to it (and it's much better than having my ears freeze). I like that they have a large enough hole for ears that I can fit my earbud headphones in them perfectly, and the earmuffs keep my headphones from falling out (sometimes my cord gets caught on my jacket zipper, so the headphones used to occasionally fall out). I would advise against using these when it's really really windy out because they may fly off, but otherwise, they are decent and cost-effective.

I bought a pair of ear mitts about 5 years ago and I wear them frequently in the winter. I recently bought a few more (some for me and some to give as gifts). They came as pictured and they are well worth the money. They are great to wear alone or along with a hat. I often wear my ear mitts while running and do not have trouble with them falling off. When worn alone on windy days, they feel like they might fall off, but so far they have not. (Note: I live in Ohio, but I'm sure the winds are much stronger in other areas of the country, so I can't say for sure that the ear mitts will stay on with all windy conditions. I can only say that they've stayed on for me so far.)

I gave these as Christmas gifts. They're nice little pocket sized mits. They may not fit everyone's ears comfortably, but they should most.

I like these ear muffs very much. I had Ear Pops in the past, but they did not have any insulation so the wind could blow through the thin material when biking at 20 MPH and chill my ears. These new ones have a protective layer at the center and keep my ears warm even when biking at 25 degrees Fahrenheit.

I am very pleased with these ear mitts. They are warm and stay on well.

It's the newer style wool cap. It's great for wear when you want to keep your head warm and the wool makes the wearing comfortable and insulating. What more could you ask for?

I am very pleased with this hat. It is warm and, unlike the cheap hats they have at the big chain store, it doesn't have a seam down one side. I was in the Navy 30 years ago so I can't remember how close this resembles what I had back then. But I know it's much better than the cheap stuff I've seen in the local big chain store.

Purchased this hat for my husband for Christmas. The quality is good and it truly keeps your head warm.

Well all I can say is this is a really warm cap and a great deal. thats it.

This replaces a watch cap issued by USAF in 1979. I wanted to stick with wool rather than a synthetic; wool still insulates when wet. The new cap looks like it's good quality, although not as heavy as my old one. I won't know if it's as warm as the old one until we get some really cold weather.

Surprisingly good quality for a Chinese made Hat. I like a little bit stiffer brim like a good Boonie hat has, but the wider brim affords more protection from the sun. I am pleased with this product, being a long time Boonie hat wearer.

This hat is very similar to an Austrailian outback hat-in fact you can snap up a side or two if wanted for style or comfort. It's wonderful for keeping the sun off my face and back of neck. It is comfortable and decent looking. It comes with a "tie" so it won't blow away-it might blow off my head, but it won't blow away! The hat arrived very quickly and was packed well. No problems with the company, I would recommend them!

The hat fits perfect, used their guide to get size. I am a Scout Leader and will wear it to many Scout Camp outs.

A functional boonie hat, but not a traditional fishing hat which has the elastic storage band around the crown of the hat. Since photo roll containers have joined the dinosaurs in extinction, I've decided to use my fishing vest for storage and easier access. This is the only compromise to expect if you searched for a "fishing hat" (and if you still own photo-roll containers).

Nice hat, I needed a size 2 sizes larger than I thought, so maybe buy larger at the same time and just send back the one that does not fit. Enjoy!!

What a great hat. Keeps the sun off your neck. Extra large brim. Also breathes well to keep the head cool. Great buy.
