This is the best cat toy we have ever purchased. WE bought it about 5 months ago and cats still love it and it is holding up great to two very active cats. Best thing about it is that you can fish from the sofa for hours and keep them happy! Do not hesitate to buy this toy :-)

My cat loved this toy before I threw it away. I tossed it because the fishing line got caught around her leg and she freaked out. She ran under the sofa and I was afraid to reel in the line because too much tension on it might dig it into her skin. She bit the line and cut it off, thankfully, but I no longer trust this toy. I don't think this should even be marketed for cats.

My cats LOVE this toy. But in the span of 2 days, I had to return 3 of them because they kept breaking. This product is a total piece of junk. But there is hope! Solution: Buy a child's fishing reel - those plastic ones with characters on them (maybe 10 bucks, max) and the replacement Catfisher Lures, or any sort of catnip mouse. Attach catnip mouse to child's fishing reel, and enjoy. Our Finding Nemo children's reel has lasted over a year, and we have to hide it when we aren't playing!

I only spent $10 on this at my local Pet Expo, and it wasn't even worth that. My cats got to play with it for about 10 minutes, then the line tangled up, snapped, and now I can't get it back together. Definitely not worth more than maybe $3.00. The saddest part is that your animal will LOVE it, and then sit next to you on the couch watching you try to fix it for 2 hours. Do NOT buy this product, get a children's pole instead and just tie a toy to the end.

My Cat loves this toy, I mean LOVE... she loves to play all night. But I am on my second one, the first one broke and boy she was so tiffed the rest of the night after it broke, the next morning I went to the store to return it and get a new one. Nice invention, but could be more well built. It tangles and gets stuck or caught and then you have to take it apart and good luck getting it working again. I am on my 2nd one, thought I had to take it back. I may try that barbie fishing rod idea, for the price you pay, this is ridiculous to replace all the time...

I ordered this along with the fishing reel toilet paper holder for my father who has always enjoyed fishing. He and my mother love the seat and think it is very nicely made.

I wish I would have known when I ordered this toilet seat that this toilet seat was for a round toilet not an oblong seat like I have. We tried to install it last night and I don't think it is going to fit properly. I am disappointed. I had seen one of these in a cabin and really liked it. The seat I received was much smaller than my toilet and did not mount well on the stool. Came without mounting directions. I would not recommend this for a toilet seat but might look nice on a wall somewhere .

Bought several of these for gifts. We have standard, round toilet seats currently and these were more than an inch smaller. Make sure and measure carefully as they were too small by a LOT. We weren't able to use any of them and it was a huge disappointment. Also, beware that while some of these have real lures and flies in them, others are fake and look it. The real ones are much better. Really wish this came in a reasonable size as it is a really cute idea and would have been a great conversation piece in our lake cabin.

I purchased this toilet seat last year for my Dad to use in his cabin. The idea and concept are great, but the seat itself will not work on ANY toilet I've seen (except the outhouse), even the round bowl. The seat is very small, and the risers on the bottom of the seat are un-even. They don't all touch the bowl of the toilet. The hardware is cheap, and does not keep the bowl from sliding back and forth. The concept is awesome. The lures, though easy to see they are not real, provide quite a conversation piece. The concept is great, but the real life application of this product simply will not work. More research and development needs to be done to improve this product so that it will fit on a normal toilet bowl. If it fit properly and had decent hardware, it would justify the enormous price tag. Instead, my Dad has a unique but pricy gift that he'll either have to hang on the wall or use in the outhouse. BUYERS: Be sure to carefully examine the dimensions of this product before making a purchase!!!

Although this is a Rapala commercial the information is very useful to anyone using hard baits. I enjoyed it, and the fishing action was good.

This DVD covers alot of basics for steelhead fishing, the best parts include, water/weather conditions and presentation. That being said, this DVD only covers bait presentations not lures, or flies. However, it does a pretty good job with the important things one should know about steelhead fishing and those things can be applied to most types of fishing anyway.

I gave this as a Christmas gift off someone's wish list and he loves it. It is really colorful as depicted and he has had compliments on it from visitors to his office. It is rather large but it is perfect for his large hand. If I had ordered it, it would have been way too big for me. It would be helpful if there was a photo with it next to a common item so people could gauge the size.

I bought as a gift for Christmas and the vendor was great and on time. The issue lies with the size and angle of the mouse. While using it for 40 minutes, my wrist cramped and hurt for a few hours. My hands are small and I attributed the pain to the mouse size. Upon further use by my 6'3 boyfriend, he complained of pain in his wrist as well. Very cute, but poor ergonomic design.

I bought this for my elderly parents who have some difficulty using the Apple Mighty Mouse that came with their iMac. Its low profile and pressure areas for buttons gave them hand cramps and misclicks. The Firetiger, with only 2 buttons and a fairly large scroll wheel, is easier for them. The larger size and taller, rounded profile prevent cramping for those with large hands, as well. And the design is amusing.

I just received this yellow/black/grey sleeping bag for my little boy (5), along with the purple one for my little girl (7). Both sleeping bags have very good quality from the look and feel. We'll find out how it fares in cold autumn mornings here in Southern California this October when we go out camping. It was difficult stuffing it back into the carry bag, but I managed. Over all I liked it a lot, because I know my kids will be able to use them for some years to come. Nice colors, design, materials, and looks really very well made... plus price is great!

I got this bag (purple one) for my daughter to use at nap time at preschool. I found it hard to get into the bag. Also, the washing instructions say to hand wash or put it in an industrial washer, neither of which are practical when it gets sent home once a week for washing. Perhaps it is OK for less regular use like camping, but it also says not to store it in the bag, which seem ridiculous to me.

This is a stylishly designed light sleeping bag that we bought for our son and he really liked it. When rolled up it nicely fits into its bag unlike another sleeping bag that we bought. We haven't yet put this to an outdoor test.

As I've stated in some of my other reviews, it was about 24 years between fishing trips for me and getting started again, I wanted to get my knots down again so I was not immediately giving all of my tackle to the lake and fish as free gifts. This item is simple, clear & easy to use. It holds up very well in the elements and can be tucked in any small pocket or just about anywhere in your tackle box or vehicle. It's a great go anywhere aid that you can't beat for the price.

the materials and printing is first rate.... i was not home when the package arrived with several books an the knot tier instruction... funny thing that when my father gave me the package... the knot tier instruction was not there.. is that well made!

This is quite an informative product. Never knew how to tie these knots for fishing. Learned a lot. Thanks

I bought a couple of these for my wife's an my tackle boxes. The are made of sturdy plastic and seem like they should last a while. The instructions for the knots are easy to read. My only concern is the medal grommets that hold it together...I don't know if they will rust eventually if they get wet. I'm happy with these and actually going to order a couple more right now as gifts for people.

I am very happy on this product and the timeframe on which I recieved it.

This book was made for tiers, not for coffee tables. The book has a ring type binding which makes it easy to flip to reference other pages and the pages do not get damaged. You can close the book from at any point and the pages will not get damaged or worn at the binding. Comes with very clear pictures, vibrant colors and recipies are included for every midge. The tips at the back of the book provide some insight on how to fish the midge in different situations.

This book is great for the tier who is new to the bench or has tied for years you need this book.

Excellent One of the best reference books I own. The spiral binding makes it very easy to keep in front of you while you tie many of the excellent midge patterns. This book contains patterns from many different and famous tiers from all over the world. Great pictorials of many patterns for tiers of all skill levels. I highly recommend this book to all who tie flies.

Modern Midges is an outstanding book. Every serious flyfisherman should have this book in his fly fishing library. The photography is great; the tying instructions are clear and easy to follow; and the articles, by prominent midge fishermen, are very useful. I would highly recommend this book.

after so many years final, a reference book with patterns of many well know fly fisherman from around the world . this book has it all, if you are a novice or an advice and season veteran, this book will become the "holly grail" of fly fisherman . as a guide this is the most important food source for trout ,every fly fisherman should have these patterns in your box, Photo's and input is fantastic i highly recommend this book! combine this with ralph & lisa cutter dvd of "bug of the Under world " will give you the true study and understanding of aqutic midge life and to mimic there movement.and behavior. its is one of the most under utilized ways to true catching trout. if you become profecence asa fly fishman fishing midges , you will outt fish most fly fisherman on the stream.

This a handy little book, the only dislike is that the pages are not waterproof.

This pocket booklet has all the necessary fishing knots and angler will need in the field. It also has good diagrams on how to tie each knot. I will put this booklet in my fishing box or vest and carry it in the field all the time. It is not too big and not too small, but just the right size to put into a zip-lock bag.

This was a Christmas stocking stuffer for my husband. He is an avid fly fisherman and loved the book.

great reference for a great price. I've been learning how to fly fish and it's extremely valuable for a person who never learned how to tie knots. It's broken down into line backing, backing to line, line to leader, leader to tippet, tippet to fly. very specific and very easy...

I thought this was a good guide to keep with me - it is fairly straight-forward, and easy to follow, as well as being easy to reference quickly.

My 7-yrs old son loves this game almost as much as he loves the real fishing on the lake! He got it among other birthday presents and it was an instant favorite. Contrary to other posts he doesn't seem to experience any difficulties in using the fishing rod appliance. The nunchuck wire doesn't get entangled either. I guess it depends on how fiercely you reel the fish in :) The game is very well made, it has nice graphics, no violence and just sheer fun to play. We've been Wii fans from the beginning of this console and I admit that this game stands out from the crowd.

I bought this a gift for my hubby for Valentine's Day. I went through several reviews of other fishing games and Wii-mote fishing rods. This game had the best reviews. He has played it everyday non-stop since he received it. He loves it. My 13 year old step-son is getting into it as well. There are challenges that help keep the game fun. And the multi-player modes are fun too! My husband says that it is better than the real thing because he actually catches fish on the game.

Kids played it at their cousins, wanted it for Christmas. Got it and love playing it and are learning alot about fishing along the way.

Purchased this for my husband for xmas. Great fun family game. WE loved it and really funny too...

We got this on sale on Amazon and it was the best price we found. It's a fun game. My son and husband love it!

This game is fun for 2 people to play, not so much solo. It is arcade style, not realistic fishing at all. Steering the boat is the most frustrating thing I have ever done on the Wii. To steer you tilt the remote and it doesn't respond well (but comes with practice). The thumb stick on the nunchuk would have been a much better option. Having to return every fish the weigh-in is annoying at first, but once you get used to using the extra projectiles to shoot other boaters returning with fish, it adds some excitement to the game. So overall it is enjoyable to play, but it is far from a realistic fishing experience.

I got this game for my husband for Christmas because he had said he wanted a hunting or fishing game and after looking at the others, figured I would give it a chance. Well my husband does like it but my daughter and I have played it more than him. It is best as a family game; certainly makes for some good 'ol competition. Both he and I would do the multiplayer versus or try the Tournament co-op. There are several different ways to play and the variety of fish is pretty big. There are some that are supposed to be surprise fish. Which in some cases I wouldn't call them "fish" (example is one of my 'catches' was a plate of sushi). I haven't made it thru the whole game yet, the higher you go the more challenging it is. You can get faster boats and lots different lures for different fish you catch. They have 5 different characters to play on the Tournament Mode, all but one are boys so the only girl character, Emily, is the one that gets most played in our house. The fish are not too challenging to catch most of the time, even when I am not using the right lure I can normally get them to bite. They just bite faster when it is the right one. You can tell that when their eyes bug out of their head when they see the lure. When it shows questions marks over the fish's head it is the wrong lure. When you begin the Tournament Mode you only have one class you can start with (Beaver) but as you move along and score first place at the different locations you will unlock more of the classes (there are 6) and each of the classes have 4 different locations you can go to. The different classes are: 1 Star: Beaver Class 2 Stars: Fur Seal Class 3 Stars: Sea Lion Class 4 Stars: Dolphin Class 5 Stars: Orca Class 6 Stars: Whale Class As I said each Class has 4 different locations, some of them are repeated in different classes but are more challenging to get thru, as well as they have them at different times of the day or different weather conditions. For example, Beaver Class locations are The Pacific Northwest, Florida Keys, The Nile River and The Amazon River. In Fur Seal Class the locations are The River Thames, The Mediterranean Sea, The Amazon River and The Pacific Northwest. The Amazon River might be a sunny afternoon in one or a rainy morning in the other. You start the race in the Safe Harbor and it is usually a race to see who can catch the most fish, in either pounds or number. Using the co-op mode helps because you use two players instead of one and all the fish you catch is added together. You have a map to tell you where the fish are but I have plenty of times just been riding around and see a fish on the surface where there are no indicators that fish are there. The areas highlighted on the map also have these bubble areas in the game so you know that is where you need to fish. You will also find temporary bubble areas that are not on your side map that usually have some fish hiding in there. One of the other great things about the game is that you can catch more than one fish at a time. It is not all the time but if you have hooked a small fish, occasionally a bigger one might come along and eat it, to which you have to hook that one too and then reel it in. But when dropping it off at the safe harbor it will count as two fish. There are several different 'power-ups' during game play. You find them in the shape of presents on the water with these large glowing balloons above them. Usually these come in the form of Seagulls (steals opponents fish), Porcupine Fish (3 bombs), Duck Missiles (send after opponents and blows up their boat), Dolphins (protection) and a Whale (blows opponents out of the water). None of them completely take out a opponent, just immobilizes them a bit or they lose their catch, which can mean a lot if it comes down to you or them racing to the finish. The power-ups all have different uses but can take a little bit of time to get the hang of them. I had a lot of fun using them against my husband when we played against each other (he didn't find it too fair lol). There are more powerful versions of the power-ups too but you have to get higher up in levels to see them. I would say there are a few cons to the game. I don't particularly like using the nunchuk for reeling because the cord can get in the way and it is not stationary but after you pretty much get use to the controls it isn't all that hard. I found that when choosing the type of boat, I prefer balance over speed, there is a third boat option but I haven't gotten that far in the game yet. Speed is nice but it is REALLY hard to steer the boat. You have a regular speed (B button) and a Turbo Dash (A button) in any mode so using the speed mode for a tournament player is not really necessary. Sometimes the screen has gone funny on me if I back up into a wall or object, usually it will point your view skyward so you can't see anything, it is a pain but just pulling forward a bit fixes it. Overall I enjoy the game very much, it is a challenge for us and I can play it with my children. I wouldn't recommend it for serious fishermen because it is cartoonish but as a family game it is wonderful.

The game is fun but it gets boring after a couple of hours. Not worth the money. If you liked the wii bowling and you have a lot of money this game's for you.

Wow, I hooked this on to my grandson's line and he caught a 24" walleye, and three northern pike (24, 26, and 28") in less than three hours. Rapalas and Storm Chug Bugs are killer lures.
