Maybe I have bad body chemistry and maybe mosquitoes are attracted to me for some mystical reason. But shouldn't a product that has such high reviews I dunno, prevent that? I'm in the US Army and I've been in some of the worst mosquito-infested swampy hellholes that Uncle Sam has to offer. I can say for certain that this product is uncomfortable to wear (feels like you've just slathered thinned-out petroleum on your skin), stinks like hell, and oh guess what, does not stop the mosquitoes in the least-bit. I [trash]-canned this tube of crap and grabbed for my buddy's can of cutter. Ultra-thon ultra sucks.

Used this in Thailand on a recent trip and didn't get any bites where the cream was applied. Even after a full day in the woods the areas where cream was applied were protected, but the areas that I didn't do would get bitten. Also, it's a nice size to travel with and no aerosol to deal with.

I just returned from the Yucatan and Belize where I spent a lot of time in the jungles. I would apply it before I left my hotel and it would last all day even with the high humidity (lots of sweating). I would look down at my legs and see the multitude of mosquitoes hovering around but not landing (biting). Where I did get stung was on the arches of my feet where I did not apply. Absolutely recommended. But not for those with sensitive skin. I handled it but could feels a very slight warming sensation after applying it.

This product is great for outdoors and woods where the mosquito and other bug population could be dense. Make sure you rinse your hands after application, because dinner does not taste good with a little salt, pepper and DEET!

My wife and I agree. This cream does repel Mosquitoes and it does have staying power. Also, we did not break out into rashes so allergic reaction was not a problem. It's a bit pricey in my opinion. I got some in my eye and that was a pain. Take heed to keep this stuff off your face.

I bought this for my Dad's house on the coast. The representation online doesn't match the item exactly. The frames are alot smaller than I thought, and definitely alot more fragile. The entire thing is VERY heavy so you would need to know where your studs are in the wall in order to put it up. The quality of the frames are good, but the "flys" look cheap.

This video was shot and edited with professional equipment by someone who is a veteran in the instructional video industry. Harry is a veteran teacher and writer and his presentations always get rave reviews. I would put the quality of this DVD up against anything on the market.

Reading the water and showing actual fishing techniques on many kinds of trout streams is the great part of this DVD. This is very informative and sure to change my techniques. Harry is so enthusistic and focused. That has to infect viewers, it did me. The photo work is good. This is a top notch educational DVD. If you put his ideas to work in your fishing, it is sure to increase your catch and make your time more enjoyable.

If you are looking for information on fly fishing... look elsewhere. This is a badly photographed and produced video and not worth your time.

I have been fishing for about 2 years and only just started using a fly rod. So for me I found this dvd to be extremely helpful. In my experience as a fisherman, the most frustrating part has been the question "Where are the fish?" This video answers that question. You find out were you can expect brookies, rainbows, browns and cut throats to be on small mountain streams (like I fish), medium sized rivers and the big rivers like out west. There are plenty of tips on which types of flies to use, which cast works best in which situation. There's info on which gear works best when. After I hit eject on this dvd I was ready to drop in on a nice pool and catch some trout!!!!!!!

I ordered this together with Harry's trout fishing DVD. This DVD is super like the trout DVD. Harry demonstrates his techniques and that means so much to be able to see him actually do it. His enthusiasm and energy is great and infectious. His showing how to fish each type of fly is a great approach. His reading the water instruction is probably the most valuable part of the DVD. You have to know where to put the fly as well as how to fish it to catch the fish.

I've had the VHS version of this production for a couple of years now and I've found the technical information contained in it to be so valuable that I'll probably review it at the beginning of each bass season for years to come.

One of the most beautiful films I've seen in my life. The natural scenery of Montana is sublime!

This is one of the best movies about growing up in a challenging natural world.

Set in Montana between 1910 and 1935, the story reflects on the communication gap between two brothers and their minister father, all of whom love fly-fishing. I think this is one of the most visually beautiful movies to stream across the screen in a long time. A simple and powerful movie and a timeless tail that speaks to everyone.

The young folk might find this movie too slow moving for them. However, anyone who appreciates the people of the greatest generation will enjoy the deep reaching relationships in this film. I'm glad I have it in my movie library. It's worth watching again.

I thoroughly enjoyed both as me and my brother were both raised the same way but not quit as religious.

Her approach differs a little to that of many world class fly fishers but the end result is unmistakably "as good as it gets". A highly informative teaching/learning tool, this DVD takes pride of place in my collection.

This is the best fly fishing instructional video I have seen. Joan explains the processes of casting in a very clear, concise manner. The video is produced exceptionally well and is a pleasure to watch. I have been fly casting for over 40 years and still can get refresher tips from this video. I have recommended it to many people that I know. The Queen of Fly Casting still reigns!

After reading Joan Wulff's Dynamics of Fly Casting, I decided to obtain the video. the video is invaluable and precis in showing the correct way for a begineer to fly cast,from start to finish it is a great help and benefit.

I am beginner fly fisherman and I found these basics very helpful in getting started.

Joan Wulff is one of those people with natural teaching skills. The DVD is really easy to follow. She explains many basic way of casting and gives you advice on how to practise at home. I think that in order to really learn how to cast you need a river and a bush at an annoying place, but in order to have a fast start Joan Wulff's DVD is superb. I would highlight the word dynamics from the DVD's title. She really explains the physics of casting, and making you understand rather than showing you and prompt you to memorize I think is her way to give us wings. Wings to explore and learn by ourselves, and who knows, perhaps to improve the current technique. After watching the DVD several times, practicing in the garden 2 or 3 evenings and going out fishing half a dozen times, my expert fly-fishing partner is confortable enough to fish few meters away from me without having the fear of been hooked. I think watching Joan Wulff's DVD is a good starting point, at least it worked for me.

GPS signal is very poor. I ordered two of these and a month and a half later one of them already is malfunctioning and I cannot return or exchange it because I've had it over a month. I would not buy this item again or recommend it. I would buy two separate items in the future, a GPS tracker and a separate radio. For being Garmin built it's certainly on the lower end.

The electronics might be fine- I wouldn't know. The product broker while trying to install the batteries. The battery cover is one of the flimsiest and poorly designed things I have seen in a month of Sundays.

The Rino 120 allows you, at an affordable price to know where you are in the world, where your buddies are as well and to have on-going conversation. The unit performs as advertised. I used the Rino on a game bird hunt in rugged eastern Oregon. Our party was at times a couple miles apart and separated by some deep ravines and high ridges. Sound transmission was great. Battery life seems good. The only thing to remember is to check in at intervals so that your location will continue to update on the map. The perfect tool to stay in contact and stay safe.

I hunt with friends. The Rino 120 allows me to not only talk with my hunting friends, but I know where they are for safety. Keep adding more accessories for the 120 .

I bought this item for my brother, who lives in the Rockies and does quite a bit of hunting, fishing and four-wheeling in the woods. He told me that this little gem has probably saved his life at least twice since he's gotten it. He's gotten lost in the forest a few times and has used the unit to get his maps to decipher his location, plus call our other brother to get his location after getting separated. What more can you say about an item than it can actually SAVE LIVES! ;-) Most impressive little gadget.

i purchaased a garmin 130. what a joke. i couldn't get the softward loaded. it came with an old serial port connection and cable. modern computers don't even have this connection. company support was terrible. they offered usb softward to try to convert but it didn't work. i compared the radio transmission distances against inexpensive motorola 2-ways. the garmin got blown away. this may be the worse purchase i've made ever.

Used the unit once! I have 3 Garmin Products, two Vehicle GPS and one Personal Wrist Watch GPS, Have always been happy with the company until now. Purchased the unit and went out Kayaking once with it, conditions were windy to calm with some splashing water. When I went to change the batteries I discovered that Water got into the battery compartment, shocked because the unit is advertised as waterproof but should not be too shocked after seeing the thin seal on the compartment. Called Garmin expecting excellent support, as I said I own multiple Garmin Products and have been pleased until now. I was told by the Tech support people that although it is rated waterproof it is only is it is "standing" water and up to 1 meter. Apparently splashing water can be forced into the back and damage the unit. IT WAS NOT COVERED by warranty and was told to get a return from the retailer. Extremely dissatisfied customer and will think twice when buying another Garmin product.

This garmin was easy to use and never had any problems with it at all. And updating it was easy too. Loved it

I have had this for a year now and it works great. Matches ACU color. I would buy the 430 or 420 with the color screen but I don't need the color screen. I haven't downloaded any new base maps but I intend to do so at some point before a deployment. If you want a cheap GPS to give you MGRS grids, purchase the Foretrex not Forerunner. The Forerunner is only for lon/lat. So unless you are a flyboy and you want a cheaper, smaller unit get the Garmin Foretrex. I would like to get another unit that has an MMC slot, currently the only ones that have that are the E-Trex and some other models. Overall it is a great item.

The unit is quite functional, though when used in a rugged wooded setting, such as hunting, the reception and transmission capabilities are lacking. I was recently elk hunting and the other members in the group had the fancier Garmin Rhino GPS units, which significantly outperformed the Rhino 110. I bought on price point, thinking that I might lose out on some of the bells and whistles of the other higher end units that I wouldn't ultimately need, but in the end the 110 didn't have the horsepower and resulted in a number of instances where I couldn't communicate with the other group members and I was separated by less than two miles in a relatively unobstructed environment.

I highly recommend the Garmin 110. It is user friendly and has great features!

This was the best buy on the internet, have many friends that paid much more for the same model. The Garmin Rino 110 is easy to set up and use, can't wait to try it out. Bought many products from Amazon, delivery was always quick and on time, never had a problem.

Directly from Amazon is the way to order. I received my Rino within a matter of days. I would have no problem purchasing from Amazon again.

I thought this is what I wanted, now I'm not so sure. I bought it for a few reasons; I sail and wanted to be able to call for help if I needed to but there is no chanel 16 (help channel)on this unit. I also wanted the gps so I could find my way back in the fog. despite reading the two booklets and playing with the unit I'm still cant seem to figure out how to use it. So, I'm now looking for a proper marine radio so I can call for help. I guess this old sea dog is just too old to figure out this new tech stuff
