Okuma Voyager Travel Fishing Kit (100/6)Reviewsi bought this item as agift for my husband. he seemed to like it. it fits together and takes apart very well. i like the size as it can fit in carryon or checked luggage. and this is the only reel and rod set i found with a soft zippered case. very nice This is a good, compact unit for travel and camping. The rod assembles easily and seems to be of good quality. It is stored in sections, not telescoping. The reel was a little difficult to set up and adjust, but worked well when everything was assembled. The case is nice quality, but not lightweight ripstop - a little bulky and heavy for serious backpacking. I bought this for my kids for Christmas and on the handle is a warning that the product contains lead. Where is this lead? Is it somewhere trivial like inside the reel where I could care less, or is it in the handle materials for which I would want to return this item as I don't want my kids using it if it's going to constatly be rubbing lead onto them. The label warning was on the handle, but that doesn't really mean anything as far as location of the lead goes. I bought this fishing pole for my son,but Warning Sticker read "This product contains lead, a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, and other reproductive harm etc" So,I return the product to amazon....I would not recomend product contain Lead Paint on fishing rod... I found this to be nice little kit when I want to do some casula fishing while I am traveling and need a diversion. I would recommend it to anyone. Average Rating:![]() |
